RBN Late-Start Proposal – We want your feedback!

Rachel B. Noel Middle School is committed to ensuring that our students and staff are provided the necessary tools to grow and be successful. After extensive discussion with school leadership, teachers and district administration, we believe that in order for our teachers to be successful, it is necessary to provide them with more time for personal planning, professional development, and collaboration among their departments.

Based on this, RBN’s school leadership has decided to implement a late-start day once a week.

On this day, teachers will have from 7:30 am to 9 am for personal planning and team collaboration to improve their teaching practices and instruction this school year.  On late start days, students will begin school at 9:15 am. School will end at the regularly scheduled time – 3:45 pm.

Parents, your voice is important to us and we would like your feedback regarding this proposal. Please take a moment and send us an email to our Communications Specialist, Laura Baity at Laura_ Baity@dpsk12.org, or call the main office at 720-424-0800 and give us your feedback regarding this important adjustment.
